Anyone can submit a number. We label every submission by how it's backed: self-reported until you attach real evidence, and reviewed by hand before it's ever called verified.

"Verified" here means Timberlark reviewed the certificate or audit letter you attached — it is not an independent third-party audit. If you need that level of assurance, an accredited auditor (TÜV Rheinland, SGS, Bureau Veritas) is still the right call.
